Robert Goren, with more than 25 years’ experience in business law, is chairman of the Firm’s Business Group.  The arena of business and commercial law is vast, encompassing banking, consumer transactions, mortgages and real estate.  For our Firm’s business clients, we assist in determining whether to operate as a corporation (S or C), limited liability company, partnership, or sole proprietorship.  All of the attorneys are experienced in negotiating the amicable, and sometimes less than amicable, resolution of business issues without the necessity of litigation, where possible.

Our attorneys have a breadth of experience in the representation of businesses.  Mr. Goren and Jeffrey Orenstein are regularly engaged in the activities of their corporate clients through simply providing advice with a brief communication or addressing issues in-depth.  The Business Group prides itself on representing clients of all sizes through their respective life-cycles including: formation; shareholder agreements; operating agreements; partnership agreements; contract negotiation and preparation; employment law; covenants not to compete; intellectual property; acquisitions and sales; collections; leases; negotiations; liaisons with accountants and other professionals; and ultimately the dissolution of a business.
